Synesthesia Lab will be held in Kazan for the second time.
This is a joint project of the Sofia Gubaidulina Center for Contemporary Music and the Composers Union of Russia!
Composers selected for the laboratory will be able to create new compositions for such ensembles as the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble, the Orchestra of the Sofia Gubaidulina Center for Contemporary Music (guest conductor - Fyodor Lednev), the Euphoria Orchestra (conducted by Elizaveta Korneeva), the Vacuum string quartet, the InterText ensemble, the Space of Rhythm percussion ensemble, and also Alina Ezhakova (keyboards) and others.

Participation in the laboratory does not require fees, and there are no age restrictions. Online participation is possible.
The final concerts of the laboratory will take place in October 2024 at the main music venues of Kazan.
The laboratory will feature online lectures by leading Russian composers, master classes from MCME soloists, as well as the premiere of the experimental electronic project SYNTH_ESIA.
Participation in the laboratory does not require fees, and there are no age restrictions for composers.
